Dear Friends,

This year The Carpenter's Way will celebrate its 14th year of providing hope and the opportunity for a bright future to hurting children. The Carpenter's Way was founded by Glenn and Teresa Davis on the concept of a home for children that belongs to and is supported by Columbus, Georgia, and the surrounding communities. That vision has been realized. The Carpenter's Way enjoys outstanding community support.

In May of 2004, Kwame Smith walked across the state at Columbus State University receiving his degree in Finance. With our first college graduate, another milestone has been reached. With a number of good students in high school and one in college, we believe more college graduations are to follow. We have remained faithful to our principles of exposing our boys to faith in Jesus Christ and nurturing that relationship, providing the opportunity for our boys to grow and develop in a family setting, and providing the opportunities and support for our boys to receive a good education. These foundational principals teamed with a strong work ethic will equip our young men for a successful future.

The future looks bright for The Carpenter's Way! Responding to a need in the community we are exploring plans to open a home for girls. We are at a place in the development of our ministry where we need to assure our supporters that the operation and upkeep for the future is secure. The Carpenter's Way Endowment has been incorporated for this purpose. The endowment funding is to assure a high standard of operation and maintenance for our ministry for future generations of children needing hope and a second chance.

Join us in making the future a better place for our children.

God Bless You,

Bob Lynch
Executive Director
